5.6 Adjusting the Built-in Thermal Array Recorder
Use this function to optimize the thermal print head and chart paper of the built-in thermal array
recorder.
(1) Remove the upper case of the unit.

(2) Open the [Built-in Recorder Test] window (

5.3.2) in the maintenance menu.
(3) Loosen the two hexagon socket head cap screws. Use a 2.5 mm Allen wrench to optimize
head contact by turning the two adjusting screws during test printing. (Use a 5.5 mm
hexagon box screwdriver)
(1) Perform stripe printing and find the densest location.
(2) Print square waves to make phase adjustment. (Phase shift must be 0.5 mm or less)
(4) Tighten the bolts loosened in step (2).
(5) Print square waves and confirm that phase shift is 0.5 mm or less.
Repeat steps (3) to (6) if the shift is 0.5 mm or more.
