6.1.1.3.6 Uninstalling Symfoware
In the version level of this ETERNUS SF Manager, Symfoware is not used.
Symfoware should only be installed in cases where it was used by ETERNUS SF Manager only.
The procedures to uninstall Symfoware are stated below.

Uninstall Symfoware from the Add or Remove Programs or Programs and Features page.
If both Symfoware Server and Symfoware Client are installed, uninstall Symfoware Client first.
6.1.1.4 Resuming Operation
When the tasks described above have been performed, the upgrade of the Storage Cruiser's manager is complete. Restart the Storage
Cruiser operation.
Note
If operating Web Console from the same web browser as before the upgrade, delete the web browser's cache prior to operation.

After upgrading to this version, when changing the SNMP communication protocol used for fault management from SNMPv1 to
SNMPv3, refer to "Changing SNMP Communication Protocol of Management Server" in the
ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Operation Guide
for this version and configure your operational environment.
6.1.2 Upgrading on Clustered Systems
The following values are used in the description.

6.1.2.1 Manual Backing Up Operational Environment
The following information is not backed up automatically. Back up the following information of the previous version manually:

Performance monitoring
If the performance monitoring was performed with the previous version, refer to the following information related to the
performance monitoring with Web Console of the previous version and record the configuration information of the previous
version.

Interval that obtains performance information (in seconds)

Performance monitoring target (only for ETERNUS Disk storage system. Minimum LUN_V, Maximum LUN_V)

VMware vCenter Server configuration information
If VMware vCenter Server was registered in the Storage Cruiser's manager of the previous version, record the configuration
information of the previous version with the following procedure:
1.
Log in to Web Console.
2.
On the global navigation tab, click Server.
3.
On the Category pane, click Correlation.
The items of the Category pane change into the items concerning the correlation management.
4.
On the Category pane, click End to End View (VMware).
The VMware End to End view list is displayed in the Main pane.
