During an update, it is not possible to specify an installation parameter file for the command. In the case that a file has been
specified, the command terminates in an error.
7.5.3.2 Confirming Results of Upgrade with Silent Installation
Check the return value from the silent installation command. If necessary, check the install log file. However, if the return value from
the silent installation command is 3 or 9, an install log file is not created. For details, refer to "Return Values for Silent Installation (for
Storage Cruiser's Agent)" in the
ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide
.
The installation result can be viewed in the install log file, too.
Open the install log file to see "ResultCode" in the ResponseResult section. In "ResultCode" is written the return value from the silent
installation command.
Point
If the upgrade was terminated abnormally, refer to "
11.3.4 In Case of Problem During Upgrade of Storage Cruiser's Agent (for Solaris,
" to recover the system to the normal state.
7.5.4 Tasks to Be Performed After Upgrade
The tasks below need to be performed.
1.
In RHEL6 environments and if the previous version is Version 16.1 or earlier, add the following line to any row of /etc/opt/
FJSVssage/Correlation.ini:
EventMessageMarking=1

Execute the following command to start the daemon on the Management Server.
# /opt/FJSVssage/bin/sstorageagt
3.
Perform the following operations with Web Console to reload the server information.
a.
On the global navigation tab, click Server.
The registered server list is displayed in the Main pane.
b.
On the Main pane, check the target server checkbox.
c.
On the Action pane, click Reload Conf. under Server.
When the tasks described above have been performed, the upgrade of Storage Cruiser's agent is complete.
7.6 Upgrading Storage Cruiser's Agent (for HP-UX, AIX)
The upgrade is performed as follows:
