Fixed configuration directory and Modifying configuration directory of "For Solaris environment" or "For Linux environment"
under "Required disk space for installation" in the
ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide
-
"For Solaris, Linux, HP-UX or AIX environment" under "Required disk space for operation" in the
ETERNUS SF Installation and
Setup Guide
The procedure is shown below:
a.
Insert the DVD-ROM "ETERNUS SF SC/ACM/Express Mediapack for Windows (Agent Program and Manual)" for this version
into the DVD-ROM drive.
Refer to "DVD-ROM Contents" in the
ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide
for this version for information on the DVD-
ROM structure and detailed contents.
b.
Mount the DVD-ROM.
-
Example for Solaris
# mount -F hsfs -o ro /dev/dsk/c0t4d0s0 dvdromMountPoint
In command example, the device name of the DVD-ROM drive is mounted as /dev/dsk/c0t4d0s0. The device name of
the DVD-ROM drive may differ depending on the device.
-
Example for RHEL5/RHEL6/RHEL7 and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12
# mount -t iso9660 -r /dev/cdrom dvdromMountPoint
In command example, the device name of the DVD-ROM drive is mounted as /dev/cdrom. The device name of the DVD-
ROM drive may differ depending on the device.
c.
In the case of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (for Intel64), execute file command and confirm the architecture of AdvancedCopy
Manager's agent that has been installed.
# file /opt/FJSVswstf/bin/stgenvdisp
For example, when "ELF 32-bit" is included in the contents of the command as shown below, the 32 bit version of
AdvancedCopy Manager's agent (RHEL5 x86 version Agent) has been installed.
# file /opt/FJSVswstf/bin/stgenvdisp
/opt/FJSVswstf/bin/stgenvdisp: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), for
GNU/
Linux 2.6.9, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.9, not stripped
When "ELF 32-bit" is not included in the contents of the command shown, the 64 bit version of AdvancedCopy Manager's
agent (RHEL5 x64 version Agent) has been installed.
d.
Implement backup of the previous version.
Execute the following shell script included in the DVD-ROM. For
backupDir
, specify the directory in which to store the
backup data with an absolute path.
[When using the RHEL5 x86 Edition Agent]
# dvdromMountPoint/Agent_unix/AdvancedCopy_Manager/rhel5_x86/esfacmapreinst.sh backupDir
[When using the RHEL5 x64 Edition Agent]
# dvdromMountPoint/Agent_unix/AdvancedCopy_Manager/rhel5_x64/esfacmapreinst.sh backupDir
[When using the RHEL6 Agent]
# dvdromMountPoint/Agent_unix/AdvancedCopy_Manager/rhel6_x86/esfacmapreinst.sh backupDir
[When using the RHEL7 Agent]
# dvdromMountPoint/Agent_unix/AdvancedCopy_Manager/rhel7_x86/esfacmapreinst.sh backupDir
[When using the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 Agent]
