Install this version of the Storage Cruiser's agent.
Refer to "Installation of Storage Cruiser's Agent" in the
ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide
for this version for information
on installation.

Set up this version of the Storage Cruiser's agent.

For Windows
No actions are necessary.

For Solaris, Linux, or HP-UX
Refer to "Port Number Setting" in the "Setup of Storage Cruiser's Agent" in the
ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide
for
this version for information on setup.
5.
Restore the Storage Cruiser's agent settings information that was backed up in step 1.

For Windows
Refer to the table above and perform steps as follows:

Copy the file of No. 1 and create $TMP_DIR\ESC\Agent\var\sanm.ip.
($TMP_DIR is "Work Directory" specified at the Storage Cruiser's agent installation.)

Refer to each file of No. 2 and reflect the definitions which have been changed from the installation of the previous
version of the Storage Cruiser's agent to the $ENV_DIR\ESC\Agent\etc directory.
($ENV_DIR is "Environment Directory" specified at the Storage Cruiser's agent installation.)
Migration is not required for files whose definitions have not been changed. Use the new definition files.

Copy the file of No. 3 and create $INS_DIR\ESC\Agent\lib\defusr.dat.
($INS_DIR is "Program Directory" specified at the Storage Cruiser's agent installation.)
This is not required if the file was not backed up in step 1.

For Solaris, Linux, or HP-UX
Refer to the table above and perform steps as follows:

Copy the file of No. 1 and create /var/opt/FJSVssage/sanm.ip.

Refer to each file of No. 2 and reflect the definitions which have been changed from the installation of the previous
version of the Storage Cruiser's agent to the /etc/opt/FJSVssage directory.
Migration is not required for files whose definitions have not been changed. Use the new definition files.

Copy the file of No. 3 and create /opt/FJSVssage/lib/defusr.dat.
This is not required if the file was not backed up in step 1.
6.
Start the service / daemon of Storage Cruiser's agent.

For Windows
a.
Start the service
Click Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
b.
Select "ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Agent".
For "Started" the state of the service of the Storage Cruiser's agent:
Click Restart Service.
For "Blank Space (Stopped)" the state of the service of the Storage Cruiser's agent:
Click Start Service.

For Solaris, Linux, or HP-UX
Restart the system. Daemon of the Storage Cruiser's agent starts automatically.
7.
Perform the following operations with Web Console to reload the server information.
a.
On the global navigation tab, click Server.
The registered server list is displayed in the Main pane.
