If Managed Server transactions coexist in a clustered system, start the Managed Server transactions in the primary node for a
target transaction.
Use the Failover Cluster Manager to start the Managed Server transactions.
If multiple Managed Server transactions exist, apply this procedure for each Managed Server transaction.

Start the local transactions on all the nodes, perform the following procedure:
a.
Select Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services to open the Windows Services screen.
b.
Select "AdvancedCopy Manager COM Service" and then click Start.
Note
If operating Web Console from the same web browser as before the upgrade, delete the web browser's cache prior to operation.

Once normal operation has been confirmed after the upgrade, the backup data in the backup destination directory created in step 8-

9.2.1 Upgrading on Non-clustered Systems
9.2.1.1 Preparing for Upgrade
Point
It is recommended that you back up the system before starting the upgrade. If a failure occurs during the upgrade, you cannot restore
the environment to the pre-installation status (rollback).
When returning back to the state before installation of the upgrade, recover (restore) the system from the backup.
9.2.1.1.1 Backing Up Operational Environment of Previous Version
With the following procedure, back up the operation environment of the previous version of the AdvancedCopy Manager's manager.
Refer to "
A.33 Capacity Necessary for Backup of Previous Version
" for information on the capacity required to perform a backup.
1.
Login to the server on which to perform the tasks. Perform operations after logging in with root (superuser).
2.
Insert the DVD-ROM "ETERNUS SF SC/ACM Mediapack for Solaris (Manager Program) (2/2)" or "ETERNUS SF SC/ACM/Express
Mediapack for Linux 64bit (Manager Program) (2/2)" for this version into the DVD-ROM drive.
Refer to "DVD-ROM Contents" in the
ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide
for this version for information on the DVD-ROM
structure and detailed contents.

Mount the DVD-ROM.
Example:
# mount /mnt/dvd

Execute the following command to stop the daemon of ETERNUS SF Manager:
# /opt/FJSVesfcm/bin/stopesf.sh

Implement backup of the previous version.
Execute the following command. For

, specify the directory in which to store the backup data with an absolute path. For

, specify a directory in which to temporarily place the files related to the performance management function of Storage
