Before installing DOCOMO Connection Manager

Check the followings before installing DOCOMO Connection Manager.

Prepare the FOMA terminal, and FOMA USB Cable with Charge Function 02 (optional) or FOMA
USB Cable (optional)
②
Confirm the services and contract details with the Internet Service Provider
③ When the connection software other than DOCOMO Connection Manager is installed, disable it if
necessary

Setting for Internet Explorer
Before installing DOCOMO Connection Manager, set the Internet option for connection in Internet
Explorer.

Start Internet Explorer to select " ツール " (Tool) → " インターネットオプショ
ン " (Internet option)

Click " 接続 " (Connect) tab and select

" (Not dialing)

Other connection software than DOCOMO Connection Manager
d
DOCOMO Connection Manager provides the same functions as the ones included in other
connection software listed below, and this is all you need. Disable or uninstall the following software, if
necessary.
a mopera U start up tool

mopera U connection & setting tool
a FOMA PC setting software
a
FOMA byte counter

Uninstall the following public wireless LAN connection software if Mzone (public wireless LAN
connection) is used through DOCOMO Connection Manager. The simultaneous use prohibits Mzone
connection through DOCOMO Connection Manager.

If no MSXML6 ・ Wireless LAN APIs are available in your Windows XP environment, install them before DOCOMO
Connection Manager. When the confirmation screen appears on MSXML6 ・ Wireless LAN APIs installation, click
"Install" to proceed it. Restart Windows after completion of installing MSXML6

Wireless LAN APIs, and DOCOMO
Connection Manager is automatically installed.
