Resetting charges automatically
<Auto reset total cost>
Configure the setting to reset the total calls cost
displayed in “Call data” to zero automatically at 0:00
on the first of every month.

Charge Upper Limit
<Notice designate calls>
If accumulated charges displayed in “Call data”
exceed the cost limit set in this function, the standby
screen or alarm notifies you.

The alarm notification works only once when the
accumulated charges exceed the set cost limit.
z
Exceeding the limit does not prevent you from
making calls.

● Alarm notification action
After ending a call, the following
actions notify you when
accumulated charges exceed the
cost limit.
■
When Notify cost limit is set
to “ON” and Alarm tone is
not set to “OFF”
When the accumulated charges exceed the preset
cost limit, the alarm tone sounds for about 5 minutes,
3 seconds after ending the call, and the notification
screen appears. To stop the alarm tone, press any
key. After the notification, pressing
t
or
y
displays the “ ” (Notice designate calls) desktop
icon on the standby screen.
■ When Notify cost limit is set to “ON” and Alarm
tone is set to “OFF”
When the accumulated charges exceed the preset
cost limit, the “
” (Notice designate calls) desktop
icon appears on the standby screen.
● Checking the content of “ ” (Notice
designate calls)
Select the “ ” (Notice designate calls) desktop icon
on the standby screen to check the content of Notice
designate calls.

Setting Auto reset total cost to “ON” and changing
the month in “Set main time” resets the total calls
cost.

The Auto reset total cost is reset to “OFF” when:
• The power is turned on without a FOMA card
(UIM) inserted
•

is pressed on the PIN2 code entry screen
that appears when the power is turned on
• The PIN2 code is locked → p.124
• An error occurs on the FOMA card (UIM)

The charges for PushTalk, i-mode or packet
communications and Chaku-moji transmission are
not supported. To check i-mode charges, see
“Mobile Phone User’s Guide [i-mode] FOMA
version”.
