● Stopping the alarm
■
Alarm sound for Alarm
When the Snooze setting is set to “OFF”
Press any key to stop the alarm, animation and
i-motion. Press any key again, and the release tone
“pipip” sounds, and the animation, etc. disappears.
When the Snooze setting is set to “ON”
Press any key to stop the alarm, animation and
i-motion. The alarm message “Snooze...” appears,
then the alarm is given again at set interval (minutes).
Pressing
y
while “Snooze...” is displayed emits the
release tone “pipip”, and snooze is released.

Other alarm tones
Press any key to stop the alarm, animation and
i-motion. The alarm message remains displayed.
Press any key again to clear the alarm message (For
Timer recording, when “Activate TV w/ alarm” is set to
“OFF”).
■ When a call arrives during alarm notification
Alarm notification stops and the call is received. The
“Alarm” snooze is released.
Checking alarm content if notification
fails
If the alarm fails, the “ ” (Missed alarm)/“ ”
(Missed program) desktop icon appears on the
standby screen. Check the missed alarm content
(Missed alarm info) from the desktop icon.

To clear the desktop icon

Once you clear the desktop icon, you can no
longer view the missed alarm information.

Check the content

reappears and the desktop icon disappears.

An alarm is given with the set action.
An animation appears on the
display/indicator display. An alarm is given repeatedly for
about 5 minutes. An animation
appears on the display/indicator

For Timer recording, an alarm
sounds for about 2 seconds, about 1
minute before the start time. After
the alarm ends, the 1Seg screen
appears.
When power off The “Auto power ON” setting
applies. When set to “OFF”, the
desktop icon does not appear even
after the power is turned on. An alarm is not given. The setting
remains effective.
Recording does not start if the power
is off about 1 minute before start
time. Desktop icon does not appear
after powered on.
During a call

An alarm sounds from the earpiece. An animation appears on the display.
While the earphone/
microphone is connected An alarm is given in the same way as for “In standby”. An alarm sounds from
the headset and speaker according to the “Headset usage setting”.
While in Dial Lock/Omakase
Lock An alarm is not given. Recording does not start if locks are not released
about 1 minute before start time.
Desktop icon appears after locks are released.
While in Original lock The alarm of Alarm/Schedule/To Do list is not given. The desktop icon
appears.
The Booking program/Timer recording alarm is given.
