/Troubleshooting
When connecting the FOMA terminal to a PC in
MTP mode, the FOMA terminal is incorrectly
recognized as a camera device

Is the Windows Media Player version 9 or under?

If the version of Windows Media Player is 9 or under,
Windows Media Player does not support MTP mode
and cannot be recognized as an MTP device.
Upgrade Windows Media Player, and follow the
procedure below to uninstall N-09A that was
recognized as a camera device once:

5. Disconnect N-09A from the PC
6. Set MTP mode again and reconnect N-09A to a PC
Overseas Use

Are you out of international roaming service area or is
the reception poor?

See the international service guides such as “Mobile
Phone User’s Guide [International Services]” to check if
the area or operator is available.

Activate “NW search mode” to search for a compatible
operator.

After going overseas, change the “3G/GSM setting” to
“AUTO” or another compatible network. If the setting
was set to “AUTO” in Japan, reboot the FOMA terminal
power.

Contact docomo Information Center for total charges. A
limit on communications charges is set for International
roaming service WORLD WING. If your charges
exceed the limit, the use of WORLD WING will be
suspended. Service can be restarted if you pay the
total charges for WORLD WING use.
●
Check the “3G/GSM setting”. If set to “AUTO”, a
searched network may be unusable. Change the
setting to “3G” or “GSM/GPRS”, and use a network
compatible with your country or region of stay.
