Dialing …… Make a call or send SMS to the phone
number in Phone number mode.

phonebook. The stored data varies depending on the
displayed scanned data or screen.
Add bookmark …… Add the URL to the Bookmark in

Search phonebook …… Search phonebook using the

the scanning screen, or in Card read mode or
Compose message mode.

Add the scanned data to Text
memo. Data scanned in the Card read mode and

Handwritten text cannot be recognized. If the text
is faxed or copied, fonts are decorated, character
spaces are not fixed, or fonts and background
cannot be easily distinguished, recognition may
fail. Also, recognition may fail depending on the
ambient lighting.
