Scanning Text
<Text reader>
Use the rear camera to scan printed text then add the
scanned text data as a phonebook entry or
bookmark, or use the data to compose mail. You can
also make a call or access a website using the data.

Up to 8 scanned data can be stored.
z
Hold the FOMA terminal firmly to avoid shaking
during scanning.
z
When scanning text, hold the rear camera about 10
cm away from the text.
z
Vertically written Japanese text can be scanned.

The following are the scan modes. Select a mode
suitable for the data to scan:

The address cannot be entered if it contains

The videophone image is not retained after dialing
