Providing Location
Information on Request
<Location request>
Set the location information to be provided when it is
requested by a third party set for location request
services such as DOCOMO “imadoco search”.
z
To use a location request service, a subscription to
the service provider may be required. The service
charges may apply.
z
To use a location request service, you need to set
“Permit to send loc.” under “Request menu” (p.295)
to “ON”. It may be required to make the setting for
each service.
z
You may need to configure the location info usage
setting via i-mode, in “
各種設定(確認・変更・利
用)
” (Various settings [confirm, change, use])
under “
お客様サポート
” (Customer support).

This function is available only for Number A,
regardless of the mode in 2in1. If the other party
searches for Number B, the location information is
not provided and the other party receives a report
that the search failed.

Even if “Reject numbers unset” is set, location
information requests from callers not stored in the
phonebook may be received depending on the
setting situation.
z
If “Permit to send loc.” is set to “ON”, location
information may be sent to the requestor even if
you do not operate the FOMA terminal.
z
If the same time is set to Start time and End time,
the following will apply:
• When “Term of validity” and “Repeat” are not
set:Location request is accepted for 24 hours
from the set time.
• When “Term of validity” is setLocation request is
accepted until the end time of the day after “End
date”.
• When “Select day” is set under “Repeat”
Location request is accepted until the end time
of the day after specified day.
