Transferred data
z
For data received on the FOMA terminal, see
Table 2
Saved as in (p.338).
z
The FOMA terminal may not properly receive some
symbols or pictograms entered in mail or phonebook.
z
You cannot send or receive:
• UIM phonebook, SMS
• Frame or stamp data (can be received only)
• Melody, still image, moving picture, i-motion or PDF
data restricted by FOMA card security function
• Data in the Secret folder
z
You cannot receive:
• Images other than JPEG, GIF, and SWF
• Moving pictures other than MP4 and 3GP
• Still image, moving picture, i-motion, melody,
PDF data whose image size or file size exceeds
the capacity of the FOMA terminal
z
When you receive all, the FOMA terminal data are
overwritten with the received data, and stored data
are deleted including protected mail and secret data
of the phonebook or schedule. However, frames and
secret data in the secret folder are not deleted. Check
if there is important data before receiving all data.
z
Transferring all may change the order of data on
the recipient.
z
You can send/receive up to 9 double-byte or 18
single-byte characters for titles of still images,
moving pictures, i-motion or PDF data and up to 25
double-byte or 50 single-byte characters for titles of
melodies. If the length of the title exceeds the
maximum, the excess characters are deleted.
z
Note the following when you transfer phonebook data:
• The secret code cannot be transferred.
• When you transfer a single phonebook entry
stored as secret data, the secret setting is
released when transferred.
• Still images stored in the phonebook you receive
are saved to the Inbox folder under “My picture”.
However, if the capacity of “My picture” is
exceeded, a still image will not be saved and only
the phonebook entry is saved.
• “Send all” sends the phonebook and PushTalk
phonebook, and “Send one” sends the
phonebook only. However, the receiver sees a
message asking whether to save the entry to the
PushTalk phonebook, and it can be stored in the
PushTalk phonebook.
