Managing the microSD Card
Formatting the microSD card enables you to use the
card on the FOMA terminal or check the usage
status.

Note that all data in the microSD card will be
deleted when you format it.

Setting the USB Mode

Set the USB mode to use various functions by
connecting the FOMA terminal to a PC, etc.

USB mode is categorized into “Communication
mode”, “microSD mode” and “MTP mode”.

Communication mode …… Use the external
connector for data transfer via packet
communication, 64K data communication or
cable connection.

* Make sure to format a card on N-09A. You may
not be able to use a microSD card formatted on
another handset or PC.

Do not remove the microSD card while formatting.
Doing so may cause a malfunction to the FOMA
terminal or microSD card.

Data in the microSD card are not guaranteed if
formatting is interrupted.
