Setting the Alarm Mode
<Alarm setting>
Set “Operation preferred” or “Alarm preferred” for the
alarm setting of “Alarm”, “Schedule”, “To Do list” or
“Booking program”.

“Timer recording” gives an alarm regardless of this
setting.

When set to “Operation preferred”, the alarm is
given only when in standby.
When set to “Alarm preferred”, the alarm is given
even when operating the FOMA terminal or
during a call.

After setting the alarm in “Alarm”,
“Schedule”, “To Do list”, “Booking
program” or “Timer recording”,
the icon appears on the standby
screen.

Alarm is given for each function as shown in Table 1
(p.364).

An animation displayed when an alarm is given
varies depending on the set icon or category.
However, if you set i-motion as an alarm tone, the
alarm is given with the video or audio.
The status appears. The blue icon
changes into red after the set date
has passed.

The volume of the “Schedule” and “To Do list”
alarms is determined by “Phone” under “Ring
volume”.
z
The volume of the alarm tone during a call is the
same as “Volume”.
z
During a call, an alarm is not given in snooze
mode even when the Snooze setting is set to
“ON”.
z
Even if i-motion is set under “Alarm tone”, an
alarm is given with in alarm tone and animation
when i-motion cannot be activated, e.g. during a
call.
z
If the auto manner mode set/release time is set for
the same time as “Alarm”, “Schedule”, “To Do list”,
“Booking program” or “Timer recording” alarm, the
alarm sounds after the manner mode is set/
released.

If “Alarm”, “Schedule”, “To Do list”, “Booking
program” and “Timer recording” alarms are set for
the same time, the priority applies:

To Do list
④ Schedule ⑤ Booking program
If the alarm fails, the “ ” (Missed alarm)/“ ”
(Missed program) desktop icon appears on the
standby screen to let you know.
