Changing Settings for
Shooting
Configure the settings such as zoom, Auto timer or
shake correction.
Using zoom
Zoom the image in/out.

The zoom is digital.

This function is not available in speed movie.

The image is zoomed in/out by one step each
time you press

continuously.
■ Maximum zoom ratio for each image size
*1 : 480 dots wide × 854 dots high, 854 dots wide × 480
dots high
*2 : Only appears when camera is activated by i-

ppli.
*3 : 480 dots wide × 480 dots high
*4 : 240 dots wide × 427 dots high, 427 dots wide × 240
dots high
*5 : 240 dots wide × 240 dots high
Using the auto timer

The Auto timer is reset to “OFF” each time
capturing ends.

Enter the time for the Auto timer
(in 2 digits from 01 to 15 seconds)
● When the Auto timer is set
“ ” appears on the screen to indicate that the Auto
timer is active.
Press
d
(Record). The Auto timer tone sounds and
the timer starts.
The illumination flashes in pale blue, and “ ” on the
screen also flashes.
The countdown tone starts about 5 seconds before
the end of the Auto timer setting, and the flashing
speed increases.

The ratio is set to “1x” by default. Changing the
image size or camera mode also changes the
