Forwarding Data via Cable
Connection
<OBEX™ communication>
By connecting the FOMA terminal to your PC via the
FOMA USB Cable with Charge Function 02
(optional), you can transfer various data such as
phonebook entries or images.

To transfer data using the FOMA USB Cable with
Charge Function 02 (OBEX™ communication), you
need to install “

datalink”
(DOCOMO keitai datalink) (p.421) and “FOMA
通信
設定ファイル ” (FOMA communication setting file)
in the bundled CD-ROM.

before transferring data.
Preventing Forwarding

When using the infrared data exchange/iC
communication/Bluetooth communication, copy to
microSD card or data transfer function (OBEX™
communication) to transfer phonebook data, prevent
transferring still images stored in the phonebook.

Using Infrared Remote
Control Function

To use the remote control function, download the
software supporting the device you use (the remote
control key operations vary depending on the
software).

“G ガイド番組表リモコン ” (G-GUIDE EPG Remote
Control) is pre-installed at the time of purchase.

Remote control operations may not be available
depending on the device.

You cannot use the infrared remote control function
in Self mode.

Ensure that the FOMA terminal and PC are
properly connected. An improper connection
may not only prevent data transfer but also result
in data loss.
z
Attempting to transfer data when the battery is
low or empty may not only prevent data transfer
but also result in data loss. Make sure that the
battery is fully charged. Also, check the PC
power.
z
All the data in the FOMA terminal may be erased
if an error occurs while sending all from a PC to
the FOMA terminal. Before sending all, check
the cable connection, the battery level of the
FOMA terminal and the PC power.
