Vertical shift of the image generated with Beam1 (NLO laser) downwards

(To shift the image upwards, just use the reverse direction buttons):

Click the

right

"fine movement" button of Beam1/Output/Axis1 repeatedly until an image shift

and illumination change is visible (image gets darker).

Now press the

left

"fine movement" button of Beam1/Input/Axis1 repeatedly until the image is

bright again. The image generated with the NLO laser is now shifted a bit downwards.

Repeat steps 1 & 2 until the images of both beams are aligned vertically.

If the offset is quite large, use the coarse buttons (not more than one click at once).

After correction of the alignment, it may be necessary to again correct the illumination

profile.
