7.3 Images and Documents Panel
The Images and Documents panel (Fig. 763) is
located in the Right Tool Area of ZEN. It displays all
images and data which are open in ZEN. Its
purpose is multi-fold:

All opened images can be brought to the
front by double clicking on them which
makes the navigation through lots of images
easy and fast.

Basic file handling functions are
implemented for fast operation with the
acquired images. The images can be saved
and closed using the following buttons:

A new acquisition document can be opened
using the button.

The button saves the selected image.
−
The button closes the selected image.
On already saved images the button
is closing the image, not deleting it.
Multiple images can be selected by
holding down the CTRL key on the
keyboard and clicking on the list entries.

The whole section can be hidden by clicking
on the black triangle at the left side of the
panel .
Once hidden, a click on the right boarder of
ZEN lets the
Images and Documents panel
slide back into the application.

All files can be displayed in three ways by
using the buttons underneath
the section.

Textual View
−
Thumbnail View
−
Big View
The default setting is Thumbnails view as indicated on the screengrab.
