To remove the card reader assembly:

a) Using a 5/16

″

socket, unscrew the re-

taining bolt from the money acceptor,
and remove the bolt from inside the
metercase.

b) Lift and pull the card reader assembly

forward and remove it from the
metercase.

c) Position the console to its service posi-

tion (see page 4-26 for the procedure).

d) If you are changing to a different type of

money acceptor, disconnect the con-
nector from P11 on the ADVANTECH



control board, and remove the card
reader wire harness.

c) Lift the coinslide to release it from the

holes in the metercase, and pull it for-
ward out of the metercase.

d) Unplug the two wires from the coinslide

switch.
