11. Plug the card reader wiring harness into the

auxiliary connection at P11 on the control
board.

12. Close the control panel and reinstall the

mounting screws.

13. Reconnect the electrical power.

14. Follow the appropriate procedure for either

manual or Palm



setup.

NOTE:

ADVANTECH



machines are shipped

from the factory with the coinslide function
enabled. After installing a card reader into the
machine, the card reader (CArd) must be en-
abled prior to doing a machine setup (see
OWNER SETTINGS in Section 6 for the pro-
cedure).

10. Install the card reader retaining screws

included with the kit, or a standard coinslide-
retaining bolt.
