NOTES FOR CYCLE TIMING CHART
A. Suspend the countdown of time until the
pressure switch is tripped. When “EFill”
(Estimated Fill, see page 6-4) is set to zero.
Zero is the factory default setting. If the
“EFill” is not set to zero (0), then double the
estimated fill time entered number (multiply
by 2 so to have the total of both the wash fill
and rinse fill together) is added to the total
run time of 21 minutes.
For example, if the table fill time is 6, then 12
would be added to 21 minutes providing a
displayed cycle time of 33 minutes. During
fill, time continues to decrement until, in this
example, 6 minutes goes by. If the fill is not
completed by then, the displayed time is
frozen at 27 until the fill is completed. If the
fill is completed before the 6 minutes of fill
time goes by, then the displayed time jumps
to the next step, which is 20 minutes for the
first fill and 12 minutes for the rinse fill in this
example.
B. Timer suspends (stops counting down time)
when the lid is open.
C. HOT water wash fill allows for the addition
of some COLD water to moderate the final
temperature. This is an owner option which
is set during machine setup (see “rEd E ” on
page 6-5).
For example, if the owner sets “rEd E ” to 8
seconds, the COLD water fills for 8 seconds
as the HOT continues to full, COLD water is
off for the next 52 seconds and the loop
then repeats every 60 seconds until the tub
is full.
D. Motor speed for agitation is selected by the
customer for two (2) speed motor speed for
agitation.
• Model CAE2761K does not have agita-
tion speed keypads.
E. While in agitation, water is added to the tub
as the pressure switch asks for water.
F. Fabric softener LED turns on.
G. Seven (7) second spray of COLD water.
Spray starts one second after spin starts.
H. Timer does not suspend its countdown
when the lid is open.
I. To confirm the proper operation of the lid
switch. When the lid is open, AC power is
removed from the motor. Between each
operation, the lid switch is monitored con-
tinuously. If the lid switch contacts remain
closed between wash cycles, it can be
assumed that the switch is not functioning
properly. Therefore, the machine could spin
while the lid is open. This fault is not al-
lowed.
Detection of this fault is done by monitoring
the lid switch input to the controller. If the lid
is not detected as open after the wash cycle
is completed and before the spin portion of
the next wash cycle takes place, then it is
assumed that the lid switch is not working
properly. In normal use the lid is opened by
the customer to remove the wash load or to
reload the machine between runs. If the
fault is detected, then the LED display shows
[=OFF=].
The machine is not allowed to run until the
Service Routine is run (see page 6-1), not
simply use of the service switch to display
the cycle count (service switch is pressed
and the factory service routine is entered by
pushing keypad 2). This clears the fault
until it is detected again. To aid in trouble
shooting, the Service Routine displays on
the LEDs the status of the lid switch.
J. When the lid opens during all fills, minutes
21 and 09 in the chart, turn off the water
valve whenever the lid is in the open posi-
tion. Turn the valve(s) back on when the lid
closes.
