Device Configuration Commands
A device configuration command begins with
emd. You can use the
device configuration commands to change the settings that apply to the
whole EMX device.
Configuration commands are case sensitive so ensure you capitalize
them correctly.
Changing the Device Name
This command changes the EMX device's name.
config:#
emd name "<name>"
Variables:
<name> is a string comprising up to 32 ASCII printable characters.
The <name> variable must be enclosed in quotes when it contains
spaces.
Enabling or Disabling Data Logging
This command enables or disables the data logging feature.
config:#
emd dataRetrieval <option>
Variables:
<option> is one of the options:
enable or disable.

enable
Enables the data logging feature.
disable Disables
the
data logging feature.
