Maintenance

*See the note below.

2. Slide in the injector assembly straight into the bottom of the torch cassette then

rotate to the right to lock in place.

3. Tighten the knurled nut.

Replacing the Torch on the Mount

The following steps describe how to replace the torch in the mount. Refer to the
next two figures.

O-Ring (Part No. 09902223) After

removing the torch the lower O-ring
may move out of position. Make

sure to push the lower O-ring all the

way down on the ledge it rests on
before you return the torch

glassware. If the O-ring is not in the

proper location leaks will occur.

Index Mark on Torch Holder

Note

If the torch glass does break, discard the broken torch and replace the torch
glass. Remove the knurled nut, sleeve and washers and make sure that you
remove all glass fragments
