6.1.8.5.3 Set SLIP IP Address

Shortcut Command:
At the root menu, type
config com slip address x.x.x.x
, where
x.x.x.x
is the new SLIP IP Address.
Description
This menu item enables the user to change the SLIP IP Address for the switch. If there is more than one switch
on the network, the user must assign a unique address to each switch. When this menu item is selected, the
current SLIP IP Address is displayed in brackets.
Note:
Changes to this parameter will take affect on next reset
SLIP Address [192.168.2.129] =
Press the <
Enter
> key to keep the current address, or enter a new address after the equal sign, then press the
<
Enter
> key. The display will show OK, indicating the new address has been accepted.
