5.5.8.6 EdgeSwitch Configuration Server Password

5.5.8.7 Export Binary EdgeSwitch Configuration to Server

Description:
Enter
y
at the prompt if you would like to export the current OptiStar EdgeSwitch configuration to the FTP
server.
WARNING
: Make all desired configuration changes before exporting the configuration. Once you have saved
the current configuration to a binary file,
do not edit the file
. Editing this file may corrupt NVRAM when it is
imported in to the OptiStar EdgeSwitch.
5.5.8.8 Import Binary EdgeSwitch Configuration File from Server to EdgeSwitch

File from Server to EdgeSwitch
Description:
Enter
y
at the prompt if you would like to import the EdgeSwitch Configuration file that is on the server to the
OptiStar EdgeSwitch.
WARNING
: This action will overwrite the current configuration parameters on the OptiStar EdgeSwitch.
5.6 Change My Password
Menu Path:
[6] Change My Password
Description:
This menu item enables a user to change their own password. This function enables the user to change
only
the
password for the
Login UserName
that was used to log in to the
current
session.
To change your password, enter your
Login UserName
at the prompt, then enter the current password and the
new password as required. Once the password has been successfully changed, the user should see the system
message “Current Password modified”.
