Allentare e rimuovere i dadi (4) di
fissaggio delle flange dei tubi di
scarico sulle teste.
Sfilare le flange dalle teste.
Svitare le due viti (24) di fissaggio tubi
di scarico.
Recuperare il distanziale ( 22 ).
Sfilare il tubo (5) di scarico orizzontale
dalla testa orizzontale e dal tubo (6) di
scarico testa verticale; recuperare la
guarnizione (
1 ).
Sfilare il tubo (6) di scarico testa
verticale dalla testa verticale e
recuperare la guarnizione (
1 ).
Importante
Otturare i condotti di scarico
sulla testa per evitare che corpi
estranei entrino nella camera di
scoppio.
Note
Le versioni U.S.A. hanno una
rosetta nel punto di fissaggio del
silenziatore destro al gruppo pedana
passeggero per il supporto del
Canister.
Undo and remove the nuts (4) that
retain the exhaust pipe flanges to the
heads.
Remove the flanges from the heads.
Unscrew the two retaining screws
(24) of the exhaust pipes.
Collect the spacer ( 22 ).
Remove the horizontal exhaust pipe
(5) from horizontal head and vertical
head exhaust pipe (6); collect the seal
(
1 ).
Detach the vertical head exhaust pipe
(6) from the vertical head and collect
the seal (
1 ).
Caution
Block off the head exhaust
ports to prevent the ingress of dirt
into the combustion chamber.
Note
On the U.S.A. versions, there is
a washer at the mounting point of
right silencer to the pillion rider
footpeg assembly for the canister
support.
