Se il valore della tensione non è
corretto, tendere o allentare la
cinghia, operando sulle viti (24) e (25)
di fissaggio dei tenditori mobili.
Alzare manualmente il tenditore
mobile (26) per tendere la cinghia,
viceversa abbassare il tenditore
mobile (26) per allentare la cinghia.
Note
Se il blocco motore è stato
rimosso dal telaio operare sulla vite
(24) con l’apposito attrezzo (27)
posizionando lo spintore (U) sul
tenditore.
Importante
Ruotare lo spintore (U) in senso
antiorario per tendere la cinghia,
ruotarlo in senso orario per allentare la
cinghia.
Rilevare nuovamente il valore di
tensione della cinghia distribuzione.
Ripetere l'operazione fino al
raggiungimento della tensione
prescritta.
Raggiunta la tensione desiderata
serrare le viti (24) e (25) alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Posizionare l'albero motore al punto
morto superiore, in fase di scoppio
(valvola chiusa) del cilindro verticale e
ripetere la stessa procedura usata per
il cilindro orizzontale, misurando la
tensione sul ramo (22) della cinghia
verticale.
Scollegare il sensore tensione cinghie
e lo strumento di diagnosi DDS del
motoveicolo.
Attenzione
Ogni volta che si effettua il
tensionamento cinghie è buona
norma verificare la fase (Sez. N 4.1).

Rimontare le cartelle
laterali N 4.2
Should the tension be incorrect,
tension or slacken the belt by turning
screws (24) and (25) securing the
mobile tensioner rollers.
Lift the mobile tensioner (26) by hand
to stretch the timing belt or lower
down to slacken.
Note
If the crankcase has been
removed from the frame, turn screw
(24) using the suitable tool (27) and
position tool pusher (U) on the
tensioner.
Caution
Turn the pusher (U) counter
clockwise to stretch the belt or
clockwise to slacken.
Take belt tension value once again.
Repeat until reaching the specified
tension value.
Once desired tension is set, tighten
the screws (24) and (25) to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Set the crankshaft at the TDC of the
vertical cylinder, in the combustion
stroke (valve closed), and repeat the
same procedure used for the
horizontal cylinder, reading tension on
section (22) of the vertical belt.
Disconnect the belt tension sensor
and the DDS from the vehicle.
Warning
Also check for proper timing
when checking belt tensioning (Sect.
N 4.1).
