Scomposizione comando
freno posteriore
La pompa freno viene fornita
completa e non è possibile eseguire
sostituzione dei componenti interni.
Per la scomposizione dei componenti
esterni del gruppo pompa seguire le
indicazioni dell’esploso riportato
all’inizio di sezione.
In caso di sostituzione della boccola
(14) interna al pedale freno (9),
eseguire il montaggio della boccola
nuova utilizzando per l’introduzione
una pressa e portandola alla quota di
2 mm della faccia esterna del pedale.
Eseguire la scomposizione dei vari
componenti dell’impianto facendo
riferimento all’esploso a inizio
capitolo.
Attenzione
Dopo aver eseguito un
intervento sul comando freno
posteriore occorre verificare la
posizione del pedale freno seguendo
le istruzioni riportate nella sezione D
4.
Rimontaggio pompa
freno posteriore
Lubrificare l’anello OR (B) ed inserirlo
nel perno (5).
Lubrificare anche l’altro anello OR (B).
Rimontare il perno (5) sulla leva
pedale freno (9), inserire la molla (6),
l’altro anello OR (B) e la rondella (12).
Sulla parte filettata del perno (5)
applicare frenafiletti.
Installare la piastra porta pedana sul
telaio (sez H 4).
Per il rimontaggio della pompa
eseguire in ordine inverso le
operazioni effettuate per la rimozione.
Importante
Il posizionamento corretto della
molla (6) è quello rappresentato in
figura.
Verificare che il tubo (3) di
collegamento pompa-pinza sia
posizionato come nella figura della
pagina seguente.

Disassembling the rear
brake control
The spare brake master cylinder is
supplied as a complete assembly.
The inner components may not be
replaced individually.
Please refer to the exploded view at
the beginning of this section for
indications on disassembly of master
cylinder outer components.
If the bush (14) inside the brake pedal
(9) needs replacing, drive the
replacement bush in place using a
press. The bush must be seated
2 mm deep below the pedal outer
face.
Remove the system component
parts as shown in the exploded view
at the beginning of this section.
Warning
After servicing the rear brake
control, check the brake pedal
position following the instructions
given in Section D 4.
Refitting the rear brake
master cylinder
Lubricate the O-ring (B) and fit it to
the pin (5).
Lubricate the other O-ring (B).
Refit the pin (5) to the brake pedal
lever (9), insert the spring (6), the
other O-ring (B) and the washer (12).
Apply threadlocker to the thread of
the pin (5).
Install the footpeg plate to the frame
(Sect. H 4).
Installation is a reversal of the
removal procedure.
Caution
The correct position of the
spring (6) is shown in the diagram.
Ensure that hose (3) connecting brake
master cylinder to caliper is correctly
positioned as shown on next page.
