Smontaggio cavalletto
laterale
Scollegare il connettore (A)
dell’interruttore cavalletto (5) dal
cablaggio principale.
Svitare le due viti (2) di fissaggio della
piastra (3) di supporto cavalletto al
motore e rimuovere il cavalletto
laterale completo.
Scomposizione cavalletto
laterale
Svitare la vite (4) di fissaggio e
rimuovere l’interruttore (5) del
cavalletto.
Sganciare le molle (6) di ritorno cavalletto
dal perno posizionato sulla piastra (3)
supporto cavalletto, e rimuoverle.
Svitare il perno (8) di fissaggio
cavalletto alla piastra e rimuovere la
stampella laterale (1) e il dado (9).
Ispezione cavalletto laterale
Verificare, introducendo la stampella
nella piastra, che non vi sia gioco
eccessivo e che le due estremità della
stampella non risultino piegate
rispetto al fusto. Individuando segni di
frattura sostituire il cavalletto laterale.
Per la verifica dell’interruttore (5)
consultare la Sez. P 6.
Ricomposizione cavalletto
laterale
Infilare la stampella laterale (1),
opportunamente ingrassata, nella
piastra (3) e fissarla con il perno (8) e
il dado (9). Serrare il perno (8) alla
coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Posizionare le molle (6) di ritorno
cavalletto, fissandole sul perno
piastra (10) e sulla stampella (1).
Posizionare l’interruttore (5) sulla
piastra, in appoggio sul perno (8).
Montare la vite (4) di fissaggio e
bloccarla alla coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Rimontaggio cavalletto
laterale
Posizionare la piastra (3) sostegno
cavalletto sul telaio e montare le due
viti (2) applicando frenafiletti
prescritto.
Serrare le viti (2) alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).
Collegare il connettore (A)
dell’interruttore cavalletto laterale al
cablaggio principale del veicolo.
Per il posizionamento del cablaggio
interruttore cavalletto fare riferimento
alle tavole Sez. P 1.
Removing the side stand
Disconnect the connector (A) of the
side stand switch (5) from the main
wiring harness.
Undo the two screws (2) that secure
stand plate (3) to engine. Remove the
complete side stand.
Disassembling the side stand
Unscrew the retaining screw (4) and
remove the stand switch (5).
Unhook the stand return springs (6)
from the pin located on the stand
plate (3) and remove the springs.
Unscrew the pivot (8) retaining the
stand to the plate and remove the
side stand (1) and the nut (9).
Inspecting the side stand
Fit the stand to the plate and check
for exceeding play. Ensure that the
ends of the stand are not bent with
respect to the shank. A stand which
shows signs of cracking must be
replaced immediately.

Sect. P 6.
Reassembling the side stand
Grease the stand (1) and fit it to the
plate (3). Secure it with pivot (8) and
nut (9).Tighten the pivot (8) to the
specified torque (Sect.C 3).
Position the stand return springs (6),
fix them to the pin of plate (10) and to
the stand (1) and tighten.
Position the switch (5) to pivot (8) on
the plate.
Fit the screw (4) and tighten it to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Refitting the side stand
Position the side stand plate (3) to the
frame. Apply the specified
threadlocker to the threads of the two
screws (2) and start the screws in
their holes.
Tighten the screws (2) to the
specified torque (Sect.C 3).
Connect the connector (A) of the side
stand switch to the main wiring
harness.
For side stand switch wiring routing,
please refer to the diagrams Sect. P 1.
