Regolazione
ammortizzatore
posteriore
Il registro (1), posto sul lato destro in
corrispondenza del fissaggio inferiore
dell’ammortizzatore al forcellone,
regola il freno idraulico nella fase di
estensione (ritorno).
Le ghiere (2) e (3), poste nella parte
superiore dell’ammortizzatore,
registrano il precarico della molla
esterna.
Ruotando in senso orario il registro (1)
si aumenta il freno
H ; viceversa
diminuisce S .
Taratura Standard :
dalla posizione di tutto chiuso (senso
orario) svitare il registro (1): di
18 click.
Per modificare il precarico della molla
allentare, con una chiave a settore, la
ghiera superiore (2). Avvitando o
svitando la ghiera inferiore (3)
aumenterà o diminuirà il precarico.
Attenzione
Per ruotare la ghiera di
registrazione del precarico utilizzare
solamente una chiave specifica ed
usarla con particolare cautela per
evitare che il dente della chiave possa
uscire improvvisamente dal vano
della ghiera durante il movimento. Se
ciò dovesse accadere, la mano
dell’utilizzatore potrebbe urtare
violentemente altre parti del
motociclo. Non utilizzare
assolutamente chiavi con dente
troppo piccolo o con impugnatura
troppo corta.
Lunghezza Standard della molla:
157 mm.
Attenzione
L’ammortizzatore contiene gas
ad alta pressione e potrebbe causare
seri danni se smontato da personale
inesperto.
Importante
Nell’uso con passeggero e
bagaglio precaricare al massimo la
molla dell’ammortizzatore posteriore
per migliorare il comportamento
dinamico del veicolo ed evitare
possibili interferenze col suolo. Ciò
può richiedere l’adeguamento della
regolazione del freno idraulico in
estensione.
Adjusting the rear shock
absorber
The adjuster (1) is on the RH side at
the bottom end of the rear shock
absorber, near the mounting point to
the swingarm. This adjuster sets
rebound damping.
The ring nuts (2) and (3) at the top end
of the shock absorber are for external
spring preload.
Turn the adjuster (1) clockwise for
harder damping (
H ) and counter
clockwise for softer damping ( S ).
Standard setting:
from the fully closed position
(clockwise) turn out the adjuster (1)
by
18 clicks.
To change spring preload, slacken the
upper ring nut (2) with a pin wrench.
Tighten or loosen the lower ring nut
(3) to increase or decrease preload.
Warning
Use the special wrench only to
turn the ring nut for preload
adjustment. When applying pressure
to the wrench, ensure that wrench
pin does not slip out suddenly from
the slots in the ring nut. This could
cause minor injuries to your hands.
Do not use wrenches which are too
small or have short handles.
Spring standard length
157 mm.
Warning
The shock absorber is filled
with high-pressure gas and might
cause injuries if inexpertly
dismantled.
Caution
When carrying a passenger and
a load, set maximum spring preload
for improved handling and to keep
safe ground clearance. Set rebound
damping accordingly.
