For initial start-up, wait at least 20 minutes to allow the cooling unit (chiller)
to provide the required temperature. Press the blue ‘Reset’ button
(Fig. 9/5) to start the laser source and wait for at least 20 minutes (auto‐
matic countdown).

Turn the system key (Fig. 9/2) to the ‘Off’ position. The laser system shuts
down with a safety delay of 5 minutes.
2. Remove the system key.

Suction status controller
The suction status controller (Fig. 10) allows the user to set the suction pressure
for the suction clip. The vacuum decrease/increase is indicated by means of the
LED bar display (Fig. 10/1). The range is from 350 mbar (1 LED illuminated) to 550
mbar (10 LEDs illuminated).

Adjusting the suction status
It is not possible to exceed the preset standard suction range in either direction.
Turn the controller (Fig. 10/2) clockwise to increase or counterclockwise to
decrease the suction. The LED bar display (Fig. 10/1) indicates the suction
pressure.
