9.4.1
When performing a treatment
Infection hazard due to loss of sterility!
The following tasks must be performed by the sterile user to guarantee steri‐
lity of the instruments and accessories. Never perform these tasks in a non-
sterile environment.
– Removing the suction clip from the package.
– Opening the suction clip.
– Placing the suction clip onto the patient's eye.
– Verifying that the suction is actually engaged.
– Docking the patient to the PI 125.
– Closing the suction clip.
– Performing the treatment.
