Parameter dialog box Definition
‘Energy [µJ]:’ Energy level of each single pulse of the rim cut.
‘Spot spacing [µm]:’ Distance from spot to spot on the line.
‘Line spacing [µm]:’ Distance of the spots from line to line.
‘Side cut angle [°]:’ Angle between the surface tangent and the
rim cut. A rim angle above 90° tilts the rim
towards the center.
‘Top bonus [µm]:’ Additional rim at the top. To ensure that the
rim is extended past the cornea, it is best to
use a positive value.

‘Position:’ Predefined position of the hinge.
‘Position [°]:’ Angle of the center of the hinge.
‘Size [°]:’ The length of the hinge width is measured as
an angle or length in µm. The size of the hinge
length can be determined by the angle or the
hinge width.
