Single-mode optical fiber, SC connector;

for long distance (over tens of kilometers)
transmission.

When HCS-8300MI connecting to CMU, only
one of the three interfaces can be used: either
the 6P-DIN extension interface or the RJ45
extension interface or the fiber extension
interface.
