Description: Safe brake test aborted. Maximum travel distance against the direction of movement
error.
Fault class: Warning
Cause
Measure
Maximum travel distance exceeded against the
direction of movement.
– Choose a sufficiently long maximum travel sec-
tion (travel section > retraction di posi-
tional tolerance).
– Check the direction of movement and correct, if
necessary.
– Check the settings for direction of rotation re-
versal and adjust, if necessary.
– Make sure that the movement can be per-
formed and that the drive does not slip.

Description: Safe brake test aborted. Error, clearing distance exceeded.

Measure
The deviation of the actual clearing distance is
greater than permitted in the setting

Fault class: Warning
Cause
Measure
FCB with higher priority than FCB 23 activated in
the basic unit.
Do not activate an FCB in the basic unit with a
higher priority than FCB 23 while the safe brake
test is running.
Subfault: 70.11
Description: Safe brake test aborted. Communication error with the basic unit.
Fault class: Warning
Cause
Measure
Timeout error in communication with basic unit.
– Repeat the brake test.
– If the fault occurs repeatedly, replace the safety
card and send it together with the fault number to
SEW‑EURODRIVE. For further support, contact
SEW‑EURODRIVE Service.
