POOR A/C PERFORMANCE
1. Start the utility vehicle. Engage the A/C system with
the blower fan on high. Run the vehicle at full rpm for
approximately 15 minutes, with the cab door closed.
2. Check the temperature at the louvers
q
with a
thermometer.
3. The louver temperature should be between 55 - 70°F
(13 - 31°C) depending on the humidity in the air.
4. If temperature is too high, check the blower fan for
proper operation or noise, and replace if necessary.
ENGINE COOLANT BYPASSING THE HEATER
VALVE
1. Push the A/C switch

to the OFF position. Turn the
fan switch
w
to the High Speed position. Turn the
temperature control
e
to the High A/C position.
2. Start the utility vehicle and run at high idle, for ten
minutes.
3. Check the heater hose
r
for temperature. If the
hose is hot, the heater valve is leaking by, and needs
to be replaced.
4. Push the A/C switch to the OFF position. Turn the
fan switch to position 1. Turn the temperature control
to the High A/C position.
5. Listen for the heater valve
q
as the key is turned to
the ON position without starting the utility vehicle.
The heater valve should rotate.
6. Turn the key to the OFF position. Turn the
temperature control to the High Heater position.
7. Listen for the heater valve

as the key is turned to
the ON position without starting the utility vehicle.
The heater valve should rotate. If it does not rotate,
check the potentiometer for proper function.
8. Replace the heater valve.
