Remove the FIM

Access this component directly from the front of the server. Remove the FIM when you need to

replace it.

1.

Prepare the server for cold service.

This is a cold-service component. Power down the system and disconnect the AC power cables

from the server before performing this procedure.

Remove the top power supply (PS3). See
