Before You Begin

Obtain a stylus for activating recessed buttons.

1.

Prepare the server for service. Choose one of the following methods:

■

Prepare the server for hot service.

■

Prepare the server for cold service.

See 

“Preparing the Server for Component Replacement” on page 101

.

2.

Ensure the top of the DPCC is closed and secured and the lever on the front of

the DPCC is in its fully open position.

3.

Align the DPCC with the vacant slot.
