9.2 Super User Mode - Things worth
mentioning
•
There are no plausibility checks when parameters are being entered.
•
There are no limit checks, and there is no control over the parameters so that they
are kept within the limits of physical laws and the specification.
•
The cut-off flow velocity is not active.
•
The choice on how, during measurement, the sound path should go through the
pipe, is extended. The display M2 'Reflection Meas.' of program branch
MEASURING changes accordingly
(see the next chapter 9.3)

9.3 Decide which Sound Path to use

... the display M4 will appear.
Now, a number must be entered (in our example "1") which represents the number of
transit paths that the ultrasonic waves travel through the medium in the pipe. This
number characterises the sound path.
Any
odd
number requires diagonal mounting of the transducers on different sides of
the pipe.
Any
even
number requires installation of the transducers so that the reflection
method can be used.
