Extension of the
ball chain:
•
Take the fastening clip of the extension between thumb and index
finger.
•
Hold the loose end of the ball chain in your other hand.
•
Put the last ball part into the bigger opening of the fastening clip.
Press the ball chain bridge through the free slot in order to move
the last ball inside the fastening clip.
(Follow the sequence in reverse to separate the extension again.)
The fastening clips of the chain repair set are
for
connecting (repairing) broken
chain elements.
The clasps of the repair set are suitable
for the coupling up of springs with the ball
chain if the integrated anchor is missing.
With tension
strap
•
Cut the tension strap according to the circumference of the pipe.
Adjust slightly before cutting.
(Length of strap = circumf 70 mm, for
larger dia 120 mm)
•
Take into account the suggested transducer distance when
mounting them onto the pipe with the tension straps.
•
Guide the tension strap through the groove of the transducer.
•
Put the free end of the tension strap around the pipe, thread it
through the clasp and tighten the tension of the strap.
•
Fasten the tension strap with the two inner hooks of the clasp.
Tighten the screw until the spring stretches.
•
Repeat tightening if the tension loosens again.
The spring compensates for the heat expansion of the pipe. Do not use a spring with
small diameter pipes or constant medium temperature.
(The transducer cables show in the opposite direction of
each other.)
Mount the transducers so that the front edges
are opposite each other. The engravings on
the transducer top should form an arrow
together
