Cut-off Flow
The limit comparison will be performed using
the absolute numerical value of the measured
flow velocity.
Note:
For the user definition of the cut-off flow limit, the conventions applicable for the
SUPER USER MODE (see introduction in chapter 9) are valid.
5.3.4 Flow Totalisers
FLUXUS has the facility to work as a flow totaliser. There are two flow totalisers in-built.
One counts the total quantity throughput in positive flow direction, the other counts in
negative flow direction.
Flow totalising for each independent measuring channel means:
•
FLUXUS measures the liquid volume throughput which has passed the respective
measuring point
within a given time.
•
The corresponding unit of measurement, which was defined in program branch
OUTPUT OPTIONS, will be used for totalisation.

Here you can see on the display the totalised
flow volume which has passed the measuring
point in one flow direction since the activation
of the totalisers.
FLUXUS can also show the respective flow volume with alternating flow directions:
