With a sensor
positioning
rail
Use the sensor positioning rail to mount the transducers on the pipe if
•
the reflection mode has been selected,
•
the outside pipe diameter ranges up to 450 mm.
1st step
The mounting fixture on the chain snaps into the groove at the ends of the sensor
positioning rail. The chain and the spring on the mounting fixture will enable the
application of the necessary mounting pressure between rail and pipe.

2nd Step
Slide track

The separate slide track device which
carries the transducer in the sensor
positioning rail snaps into the groove of the
transducer.
Attention!
Do not bend the transducer cable. With larger transducer distances, guide
transducer cable through side fronts of sensor positioning rail before the positioning
rail is being fastened.
3rd Step
•
Fit the transducers through the opening of
the positioning rail as shown with the slide
track devices snapped in place.
•
Press the large knob screw of the slide
track device against the pipe.
•
Turn the knob screw by 90 degrees until it
snaps into the rail.
