Description of Flowmeter

There is insufficient battery voltage. Measurements are im-
possible. Battery set must be charged or changed.
LED flashes, short
intervals
Error during battery charging, e.g. there is no external
voltage present.
2.5.3 Status

The flowmeter works off-line.
LED green on
The received signal is sufficient for measurements.
LED red on
The received signal is insufficient for measurements.
2.6 Power Supply
The chargeable NiCd-batteries guarantee an operating time (continuous
measurements at normal measuring rate) of approximately 15 hours.
If required, the flowmeter can operate from an external power supply of 9 to 15 V
DC. The mains power adapter and battery charging unit can be used for this
purpose.
During battery charging, the battery set must remain in the battery compartment of
the instrument. Connect the mains power adapter and battery charging unit and
make sure that its plug snaps in correctly. Select the menu function "Charge
Battery" within the program branch "SF - Special Function".
2.6.1 Switch-off Automatic
FLUXUS will activate an automatic switch-off whilst the flowmeter waits for an
input and there has been no keyboard action for a period of 15 minutes. Before
the switch-off automatic operates, a tone signal will sound and the following
indication will appear on the display counting down in second intervals:

When this display appears, any key can be
pressed to avoid switching-off.
After an automatic switch-off:

switched ON again. After the initialisation
routine, the MAIN MENU appears on the display.
