5.2 Measurement Preparation
By now, you should have completed the input of the necessary parameters for every
available measuring channel. However, the correct position for the transducers on the
pipe wall can only be found by you. FLUXUS will assist you and make suggestions for:
•
the mounting configuration for the transducer installation (reflection or diagonal mode),
•
the transducer distance,
•
the quality of the received sound signal.
There is no need for special measuring equipment, such as oscilloscopes, to position the
transducers.

the channel does not exist,
•
parameters are not valid (if, e.g., the program branch PAR for the respective
measuring channel has not been worked through completely).
