Heat Quantity Measurement
During measuring
the following information is available:
•
Volume
flow
•
Heat
flow
•
Flow velocity
•
Total flow volume or heat quantity (if total counting activated)
•
Temperature T1 (inlet temperature)
•
Temperature T2 (outlet temperature)
•
Temperature difference T1-T2
FLUXUS gives the option of displaying two of these measured values (one in each
line of the display) and of configuring the display readings according to your
requirements.
You can change the displayed values independently and without interfering with
the ongoing measurement.
DIS P
With this key, you can change the displayed
value of the
upper
line of the display during
measurement. Press this key again to switch to
the next available measured value.
DIS P
By pressing this key, you can change the
lower
line of the display during measurement. Press
this key again to switch to the next available
measured value for the lower line.
The following information can be selected for the
upper
display line:

Description
Heat Flow
Designation of the quantity of measurement
+3569.44 m3
+4567.24 kJ
+__UNDEF___ kJ
If total counting was activated depending on the quantity of
measurement selected:
Total flow quantity when volume flow is, e.g., [m3/h]
Heat quantity when heat flow is, e.g., [kW]
Heat quantity when temperature is missing.
T1= 90.2 C(FIX)
Temperature T1 (inlet) when T1-channel was activated. ´(FIX)´ ap-
pears when this temperature was entered manually.
T2= 70.4 C
Temperature T2 (outlet) when T2-channel was activated.
(T1-T2)= 19.8 C
Difference in temperature T1-T2 when both temperature channels
were activated.
The following information can be selected for the
lower
display line:
Lower display line
Description
9.24 kW
__UNDEF__ kW
Value of heat flow according to selected unit of measurement.
´__UNDEF__´ appears instead of the measured value if one of the
temperatures cannot be measured (and, therefore, the heat flow
cannot be calculated either).
* 39.24 m3/h
When measuring heat flow, the instantaneous volume flow can
also be displayed. The ´*´-sign indicates, that this value is for
information only. The process interfaces (e.g. full-scale value of
the current loop or the limits for the relay outputs) always refer to
the selected quantity of measurement, which is, in this case, the
heat flow.
