ILLUMINAZIONE
Smontaggio cruscotto
Rimuovere il cruscotto (7)
sollevandolo dalla sua sede in modo
da sfilarlo dai gommini di ritegno (1).
Per scollegare il connettore (2) è
necessario rimuovere il perno (A) e
successivamente il piastrino (B).
Nel rimontaggio applicare frena filetti
indicato nella filettatura del perno (A) e
serrarlo alla coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Sostituzione lampadine luci
Proiettore
Prima di procedere alla sostituzione
di una lampadina bruciata occorre
accertarsi che quella di ricambio
abbia i valori di tensione e potenza
uguali a quelli specificati per quel
dispositivo luminoso (Sez. C 1.1).
Attenzione
Le lampade alogene del
proiettore si surriscaldano durante
l'uso e rimangono calde per un
certo tempo, dopo lo spegnimento.
Lasciarle raffreddare prima di
eseguire la sostituzione.
Importante
Nella versione U.S.A. la
posizione delle lampade abbagliante
e anabbagliante è invertita rispetto a
quanto descritto.
Per accedere alla lampadina superiore
occorre rimuovere il cruscotto
sfilandolo dai gommini di ritegno (1).
Ruotare la ghiera di arresto (3) del corpo
lampada superiore in senso antiorario
ed estrarre la lampada fulminata.
Sostituirla con una nuova identica.
Nel rimontaggio ruotare la ghiera di
arresto (3) in senso orario per bloccare la
lampadina. Per accedere alla lampada
inferiore, rimuovere il cupolino (Sez. E 1)
e il coperchio inferiore (4) del supporto
faro svitando le viti (5). Per la sostituzione
procedere in modo analogo a quanto
descritto per la lampada superiore.
Note
Per sostituire le lampade
del proiettore non è necessario
scollegare dal corpo proiettore il cavo
del cablaggio elettrico principale.
Note
La parte trasparente della
lampadina nuova non deve essere
toccata con le mani, ciò ne
provocherebbe l’annerimento
riducendone la luminosità.
4 - LIGHTS
Removing the instrument
panel
Remove the instrument panel (7) by
lifting clear of the rubber retaining
clips (1).
To unplug the connector (2), you
must first remove the pin (A) and
then the clip (B).
On reassembly, apply the
recommended threadlocker to the
thread of the pin (A) and tighten to
the specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Changing light bulbs
Headlight
Before replacing a burnt out light bulb,
ensure that the spare bulb you intend
to fit has the same voltage and power
rating as specified for the lighting
device in question (Sect. C 1.1).
Warning
The halogen light bulbs in the
headlight become hot when switched
on and remain hot for some time after
they are switched off. Allow bulbs to
cool before replacing them.
Important
In the USA version, the
position of the high and low beam
bulbs is reversed.
To access the upper bulb, remove
the instrument panel from its rubber
clips (1).
Rotate the locking ring nut (3) of the
upper bulb body anti-clockwise and
extract the burnt-out bulb.
Replace with a bulb of equal rating.
On refitting, rotate the locking ring nut
(3) clockwise to secure the bulb in place.
To acces th elower bulb, remove the
headlight fairing (Sect. E 1) and the lower
cover (4) of the headlight support by
unscrewing the screws (5). To replace,
proceed as described for the upper bulb.
Notes
The main wiring harness cable
does not need to be disconnected to
replace the headlight bulbs.
Notes
Be careful to hold the new bulb
at the base only. Never touch the
transparent body with your fingers or
it will blacken resulting in reduced
brightness.
