Sullo strumento DDS (1) selezionare
la funzione “Modulo misure”,
premendo sull'icona “Modulo
misure”; poi premere l'icona
“Compressione Cilindri” (D) e di
seguito l'icona di “Start” (E).
Nella schermata viene indicata con
una lettera maiuscola quale presa
utilizzare del cavo (Modulo Misure) (3):
A, B oppure C.
Far girare il motore con il motorino
avviamento fino al punto in cui la
pressione non aumenta più.
Controllare la pressione in ogni cilindro:
- valore standard:
9 ÷ 11 bar;
- valore minimo:
8 bar;
- differenza massima accettabile tra i
cilindri: 2 bar.
Un valore di pressione eccessivo
può essere causato da:
- incrostazioni presenti nella camera
di combustione.
Un valore di pressione troppo
basso può essere causato da:
- perdite di gas tra testa e cilindro;
- sedi valvola usurate;
- steli valvola distorti;
- gioco valvole scorretto;
- cilindro o segmenti usurati.
Rimontare le candele, posizionare le
bobine (21) nella sua sede ed avvitare
il dado (20) serrandolo alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Rimontare il gruppo codone
serbatoio (Sez. E 3).
On the DDS tester(1), select the
“Measurement module” function
by pressing the corresponding icon;
then press the “Cylinder
Compression” icon (D) followed
by the “Start” icon (E).
The socket to which the cable
(Measurement Module) (3) is to be
connected is indicated on the screen
with a capital letter: A, B or C.
Turn over the engine with the starter
motor until the pressure stops
increasing.
Check the pressure in each cylinder:
- standard value:
9 ÷ 11 bar;
- minimum value:
8 bar;
- maximum permissible difference
between cylinders: 2 bar.
An excess pressure value can be
caused by:
- build up of deposits in the
combustion chamber.
An excessively low pressure value
can be caused by:
- gas escaping between the cylinder
head and the cylinder;
- worn valve seats;
- bent valve stems;
- incorrect valve clearances;
- worn cylinder or piston rings.
Refit the spark plug, position the coil (21)
in its seat and tighten the nut (20) to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Refit the tank-tail guard assembly
(Sect. E 3).
