Note
Questa operazione è possibile
anche con motore installato sul
motociclo. Per una migliore chiarezza,
le operazioni descritte rappresentano
una testa rimossa dal motore.
Svitare e rimuovere le viti (3) di
fissaggio cartella lato distribuzione
alla testa verticale (
9 ); rimuoverla
dalla testa.
Rimuovere le guarnizioni OR (4), (5)
e (6) dalla testa.
Importante
Fare attenzione a non confondere
tra loro le guarnizioni OR rosse (4) e
verdi (6) che sono simili per dimensioni.
Svitare e rimuovere le nove viti (3) di
fissaggio cartella lato distribuzione
della testa orizzontale (10); rimuoverla
dalla testa.
Rimuovere le guarnizioni OR (4), (5) e (6)
dalla testa.
Eseguire le stesse operazioni per le
cartelle (1) e (2) sul lato catena lato
opposto distribuzione della testa.
Note
Fare attenzione nella cartella (1) è
fissato il passacavo (11) con rosette ( 12 ).

Removing the cylinder
head side covers
Notes
The procedure can also be
carried out with the engine installed
in the frame. For reasons of clarity,
the figures show engine removed
from the frame.
Undo and remove the screws (3)
securing the timing-side side cover
to the vertical cylinder head (
9 );
remove it from the cylinder head.
Remove O-rings (4), (5) and (6) from
the cylinder head.
Important
Take care not to mix up the
red (4) and green (6) O-rings as they
are of similar size.
Undo and remove the nine screws (3)
securing the timing-side side cover
to the horizontal cylinder head (10);
remove it from the cylinder head.
Remove the O-rings (4), (5) and (6)
from the cylinder head.
Repeat the same procedure for the
cylinder head side covers (1) and (2)
on the chain side of the cylinder head.
Notes
Note that grommet (11) with
washers ( 12 ) is mounted on side
cover (1).
